A woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries tonight after her car crashed through two fences and flipped.
A nearby homeowner rushed to the scene and helped the victim from the car before police and EMS arrived.
Witnesses report that the vehicle was traveling northbound in the 2100 block of Sycamore Avenue in Tustin at a high rate of speed, possibly 60 – 80 mph, when it struck a fence at the end of the road. The vehicle apparently made no attempt to slow down. Intoxication is not thought to be a contributing factor, but the investigation is ongoing.
